Craig Newmark of Craigslist Responds to Authentium/Cox Situation

Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, responds to growing gossip regarding issues with blocking of Craigslist to Cox subscribers. There is much debate as to the real cause of this issue: was it a faulty ACK from craigslist.org itself?  or a block from Authentium/Cox?

Could this really just be a technical glitch that has persisted since February? It seems Authentium is slow to react. I wonder why.
